Atmosphere is excellent here with the white sand and the scenary. A refreshing blend of black beans, edamame, corn, red onion, roma tomatoes and cilantro tossed in a light vinaigrette and served with corn tortilla chips. We decided on Cobalt, thanks to the reviews here, and we were not disappointed. Although we were a wedding party we heard very good feedback on the menu from friends of ours who had eaten at the restaurant independently from the reception. Seafood & happy hours on an expansive patio at a busy spot with boat. I had the Chicken which was extremely tasty. The Salad was by far the best choice but good feedback on everything except the Shrimp and Grits which was too small and ok taste wise.

Although this is just a restaurant review we chose Cobalt because of a nice sized reception room and the ability to hold our small wedding (28 people) ceremony outside. The wedding was at noon so it was a great fit for us wanting to have it midday and not fight evening crowds at the site. We booked the venue and had almost 6 hours available to us but only used 4. This was our second marriage and we wanted to spend more time with familiy in a workable environment where we could take our time and not be rushed. The outdoor fire pits were lit while we were waiting for our food (was this the reason for our food delay?) because having that heat waft over us mid-July in Florida makes sense?!?! I don't know. The 3 surprise comped take away desserts was a nice gesture but strange as we were 6 adults and really did not make up for the delayed dinners. I would bet those dinners sat under the warmer for 10-15 minutes prior to being served. Had it been just myself and husband, I guarantee those dishes would have been sent back. I will say that the manager, upon asking how everything was, did offer to have dishes re-done but we had an extremely patient 9 month old and it took so long to be served the first time, we just couldn't. Daughter and DIL salmon, again, not warm! Husbands veal chop overcooked, not hot and leftovers only fit for the dog. My risotto was barely warm, the scallops seared well but again, not hot.
